Help Desk Analyst – Level 3

Position Overview:

Core Consulting is seeking an experienced Level 3 Help Desk Analyst to help provide business and technical support/guidance to the technical teams within IS and the user community at large for businesses in the Richmond, VA area. For more information, please contact us at info@coremgmt.com

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the maintenance and support of PC hardware, software, printers/copiers, and projectors.
  • Provide 1st level support for all desktop and desktop applications.
  • Monitor dispatched service desk calls for assistance.
  • Participate in research, implementation and testing of OS and application patches and hot fixes.
  • Assist in coordination of changes, upgrades and new products.
  • Manage and report time spent on all work activities.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose IT issues involving multi-platform environments, multi-software applications, hardware configurations and devices.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior help desk associates.

Qualifications:

  • BS or BA in Business related field preferred.
  • 5+ years experience as first level support and point of contact for IT problems.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel.
